Sorry if this is the wrong section, I'm pretty new to all this.

I am running Magic Carpet through dosbox-0.65 and it works perfect except pressing enter or selecting spells can cause the game to shutdown.

It doesn't crash or anything, it just closes.

Any ideas why or solutions?

That's the copy protection. It's really just a CD check when you press Enter to get to the spell selection menu the first time. Make sure you have your CD in the drive. If it doesn't find the CD it just exits back to DOS.

I know there was also a floppy version though I dion't know if it had a similar check or not.
