I'm trying to play Stunt Track Racer in DOSBox 0.65 & 0.70, but it's hard to drive the track backward...

The key assignments are not correct. The up arrow makes the car drive in reverse, and the down arrow key does the same, but with a boost! The space bar is boosting forward, but I can't seem to find the key that accelerates forward. Also, the joystick setting is not working. I cannot find any options to change the key assignments, so I'm pretty sure it's not the game doing it.

I'm not having any problems with other games, and I believe I've tried it in both full and dynamic cores.

Any ideas?

tried the mapper? see the readme

The mapper would be step 2. Of course, I ran the game sans DOSBox and found it suffers from the same issue. No key on the keyboard will start regular acceleration. Once I figure that one out, I can remap it.

I'm moving over to the DOS games board for more assistance.
