The first problem is looping setup, but that's not the greatest problem. Even when I have floppy image with windows installed on it, it won't run under the DOSBOX. There is only one way to make it work - use original MS-DOS 3.30 instead of DOSBOX-DOS. Windows 2.x and 3.x runs just fine on built in DOS, so why Windows 1.x can't? Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Best what I could get is broken splash screen and then empty green desktop. Same Windows runs from the same floppy image when I chose to boot from it instead of just mounting it (it is bootable and contains MS-DOS 3.30), there is no config.sys on this floppy and the only commands in autoexec.bat are 'cd windows' and 'win'... I've tried on VirtualPC and for this Windows it make no difference if I rename it's folder or move it to C: drive, as long as I boot to MS-DOS 3.30 it works.

some structure of dosbox is a bit too large which messes up with windows 1.x
we currently have no intention of fixing this as only windows 1.x is affected.
