Hope this is OK folks?

http://reviews.cnet.com/pc-games/rally-champi … 7-30977395.html

Probably been asked before. I've recently discovered the joy of DOSBOX and playing my 2 best loved DOS games (championship manager 97/98) and rally obviously.

Is there any way to fix the sound in this though? to me it seems slightly glitchy and timing seems a little out? Any special commands I have to give or whatever? (I have the original CD too)

Tried dynamic core with fixed cycles?

Either by editing the config file (there's a shortcut to that in the start menu) or by typing something like this at the DOSBox prompt:
core dynamic
cycles 25000
(where 25000 is a number that indicates the speed. If the game is too slow, increase this number. Decrease it when too fast).

If you edit the config file, just look for the lines "core=auto" and "cycles=auto" and adjust those accordingly.

The advantage of the command line is that it's easy for testing. Unlike editing the config file, those changes won't persist to the next session, of course.
