I am haveing no problems with DOSBOX other than trying to figure out how to transfer characters from Darksun 1 to 2. There is a character transfer program that comes with Darksun 2 but when I run it, it is unable to find my Darksun 1 save. Anyone have any luck getting it to work?
You need to mount it so that both games are accessible.
Like:
mount c C:\dosgames
when Darksun 1 is path C:\dosgames\darksun and Darksun 2 is C:\dosgames\ravager
Then the paths in DOSBox will be
c:\darksun
c:\ravager
You could also mount both directories. Keep your normal mount and have the first game's directory on another virtual drive.
I think I tried something similar to this. I used ravager as my c: mount and copied the entire darksun 1 directory into the ravager directory.
