Greetings!

I bought DOOM for my computer off of steam a while ago, and I only started to play it recently. I was very excited to play as DOOM was always a childhood favourite of mine. Although, I noticed though that the controls for it (I believe non-classic) supported mouse input, which is great, but you can use WASD to move and the mouse. How do i disable the forward/backward moving with the mouse, and just have it controlled with the W and S keys.

Not related to DOSBox, and a simple search for "doom and mouse" on vogons would have turned up a thread about using novert.

Thanks! I tried searching 'Doom and Controls' and other similar searches, and I didn't see anything that seemed related. Sorry for the redundant post. Thanks again.

I selected Keyboard only when I installed the game.

I tried the readme, and I looked around the forum, How do I get this thing to work? I can't access the 'mounted C drive' to activate novert.

I'm not sure how the Steam packages work. I expect there should be a conf file included. If so you can add the novert command under the autoexec section.
