I have space quest 4 installed from the collector cdrom. But there are some timing issues, so I ran it in dosbox. However, when the game begins and I skip the introduction, I see the beginning animation of a space ship overhead, but then it stops before panning down to see wilco step through the portal. The music continues but nothing else happens. What gives?

I have been able to use dosbox to run wing commander I and II so you can rule out my being a total retard i think. Any help would be very much appreciated as I never got to finish this game originally.
