Did you know?

Rise of the Triad, in its original form works as far as I can see on v0.60! Ironically enough, it runs even better than Blake Stone.

On a 1200MHz Celeron processor, 9204 cycles, frameskip 5 seems to work quite well for ROTT on DOSBox. Give it a try.

Not too sure about what in specific doesn't work though...

Yeah I've tried the Windows port (are you talking about the one on Matero's Apogge page?), but it actually doesn't work too well. On some monitors it screws up; sometimes it crashes on startup; it even locks up on the "RIP" screen for each boss. There are a few AV glitches too, if I remember correctly last time I ran the source port.

ROTT on DOSBox works better for me, I'd say. Even though it's a lot slower.

In the meantime, I will be comparing the performance of the source port and real ROTT on DOSBox...
