I'm using DOSBox for the 1993 game "The Legacy", emulation and gameplay works fine, but I can't save or load because the game says "Can't open 'C:\' drive" or alternately, when I mount d as the drive, "Can't open 'D:\' drive". Anyone know a solution to that problem?

I did. It didn't work before (I tried both the config file and mounting it in dosbox, none worked) but now it works when I have those two lines in the config file:
MOUNT C C:\
MOUNT D D:\games\legacy
strangely enough, the game still doesn't recognize the d: drive, but I can now save on the c: drive. It's not a perfect solution but at least I don't have to start over every time I die 😉

I am trying to run The Legacy too but the game keeps on crashing in the character selection screen. I can read the little articles of every character but when I try to see the details of most I get kicked back to DOS.
The same happens when I am trying to start the gfame with one of the few characters that actually work.
I always get this error message:
Bad read of no of runs in loadmcc
Any hints?
It works ok here. Using the cracked editon from HotU.
Using my build see Signature.
Not getting any errors or saving/loading issues.
