When I run Project: Space Station and try to save, the game saves alright, but the new save does not appear on the list of palyable games, the game HAS been saved and is playable if I run the game from Windows XP (unplayably fast, but it runs). Any ideas on what could cause this?

On investigation I have found that the menu displays the save that is first alphbeticly, but no others.

No Idea. Would need the game to test/reproduce the behavour /and/or to fix ti .
