hi i use dosbox 0.61 on Linux, and I tried to play Need For Speed (orginal cd), i installed it under windows, and after installation, i changed to linux, and in dosbox, i typed: mount e /mnt/e-hda8/nfs (path on to game on windows is: e:\nfs), and mounted cdrom: mount f /mnt/cdrom -t cdrom (cdrom letter on win is F), cdrom was previously mounted in linux (mount /dev/cdrom). and when i run game by typing: nfs, it shows splash screen and after that shows these errors on console:
DMA Unaligned
Exit to error: MSCDEX: GetDirEntry: Not an ISO 9960 CD.

any ideas?

I solved the problem. In DosBox 0.65, I added this to the Autoexec area in DosBox conf. file:

mount d C:\ZZZ\cd -t cdrom -aspi -usecd 0

Of course, substitute the "C:\ZZZ\cd" part with what directory you use for the emulated CD drive.

I placed the files in the NFS in the emulated C:\ drive into a directory named "NFS".

I then copied the files within the NFS directory into the emulated CD drive, bare, without the NFS directory. And you see the result once I started the batch file in the C:\NFS directory!
