hi!

i want to play tentacle with dosbox and dbgl.
for example sam and max works perfectly, i put a soundfont in the dosroot-folder,
start the setup of the game, choose general midi and than can enjoy brillant sound.

i want to do the same with my cd-version of day of the tentacle but in the game folder is
only tentacle.exe, no setup-file.

so the soundfont will not be loaded and i only can hear adlib-sound. how can i force general
midi for the game so that the soundfont will be used?

i also checked game versions of the game of my friends - nobody has one wit setmuse.exe or setup.exe.

there are videos on youtube which are saying "go to setup of the game and choose general midi".

so i think there must exit such a version?
