I'm trying to get Hockey League Simultar II in DosBox. I've read the readme and tried tweaking many of the settings without success, including disabling all sound modes, ems and xms, and adjusting the mem settings. Every time I try to launch the install or hls2.exe executable, the command line hangs or freezes. The requirements on the game are listed as:

286 with 640k and VGA/MCGA

My system:

Pentium IV, 1.2GHZ, 512MB RAM, 32MB video, onboard sound, Windows 2000, Dosbox 0.61

Any tips on this game? Thanks!!!

How many cycles are you using on dosbox?? set it to 7000 at least.

Thanks for the response. I tried raising the cycles as you suggested, tried to test setting it to several higher levels also. Still have the same problem, in both fullscreen and regular mode. The command just hangs at the command line. When I try to run loadfix hls2.exe or loadfix install.exe, dosbox crashes and closes out without error. Tks...
