PLEASE forgive the stupid question, but ...

I got excited seeing MSFim 95/98/2000 was "supported" by DOSBox
I did get the ole Carmegeddon to run just fine and dandy

Running Win10
so i installed MSF Sim 2000 off the CD and after trying to run it with the exe files it laughs at me and says the program can not run in Dos mode
Also (maybe unrelated) Carmeggedon fails now too

I CAN run Duke Nukum, Wolfenstein & Doom (woo hoo)

can you tell me how i can get Flight Sim to work, PLEASE?

I also have NASCAR Racing 3 CDs coming and hope solving this issue will help make that one run OK too

many thanks

Wherever you read this, it was wrong.

MS Flight Simulator 98/2000 was never supported in DOSBox because they never made a DOS version of it. The last MS Flight Sim that worked on DOS was version 5.1.

DOSBox only emulates DOS; you would need Windows to run those games - and your Windows 10 would probably work just fine for that, most likely best with flight sim 2000.

If it still doesn't work in Windows 10 then you can try virtual machines like VirtualBox, and install Windows 98 in one, which would probably work just fine.
