Hello !
I'm having problems with the game
Joe and Mac - Caveman ninja PC DOS

The thing is I made it run quite well at 2500 cycles (P4 2.6 GHz), BUT I just can't figure out game controls !
The game seems to be set by default on Joystick control... but the problem is... I don't have a joystick 😁
The game start menu seems to offrer option for changing controls keyboard to joystick back and forth, but NO key will make cursor change position... 🙁
So, my questions are

1. is there an option in DOSBOX to emulate joystick with keyboard( I doubt it)?
2. if not, do developpers inted to add that kind of support to Dosbox(which would come in handy 😉 )?

3. does anyone knows the controls of the game, or has heard of a DOS TSR prog to emulate joystick with keyboard ?

That is indeed unfortunate...

I shall see if the preferences can be changed using a joystick. In the meantime, why not look for the arcade or Super NES versions (which are no doubt far superior anyway)?

I think the controls for that game are the numpad! 🤣

Not as far as I could tell...

Actually, the second player can be controlled with the numpad or arrow keys, but there doesn't seem to be any Attack button.

I have that game.
And the controls for the first player are the arrow keys, ctrl, and alt.
Anyway there's a weird thing about this game. I have to run it with less than 4000 cycles or it won't past the intro screen. I don't know if this has something to do with your problem but I would try changing the cycles if you haven't done it.

Thanks! Replacing my old PREFS.DAT file with that one makes everything work perfectly.
