Hi!

If I try to install "Die Fugger 2" with DosBox with 32768 colours on my Win-XP system, it sais that I lack 8mb main memory (memsize is set to 32) or a standard-vesa driver. It seems that the vesa driver is missing. I thought DosBox emulates that and does not need a driver?
If I try to install it using 256 colours, everything works. I tried downloading different versions of univbe, but I could install none of them. I have an ATI-Radeon-Graphics-Card.

Thank You,
Mergeth.

Starting the Program without any loader or with VDMSound is the same at the moment. However, I have not tried to change any VDMS-Options.

If I start the installer, I get the first Screen, but I can't move the cursor.
If I start the program installed with dosbox, there is just a fullscreen dos-box which is black and a cpu-usage of 100%, but the intro does not show up.

Hi,

now 6 years later, it's possible to run Fugger 2 with DOSBox and 32768 colors?

I get no error message, but the screen has a green touch:

256 Color mode (OK):

32768 Color mode (Hm....):

Mac problem

Yes! You have right! 😳

I have tested it with Wine (The Emulation of an Emulation 😁 ) and it works: http://www.lebostein.de/temp/Fugger_32768_wine.png

Is this a Mac bug or can I bypass it someway?
