I have downloaded DosBox, but am unable to install Daggerfall from CD (through DosBox) due to the problem that it does not see any install drives when prompted.
I have tried to manually install, but using XP renders this unusable
can anyone help?
I remember having some problems with Daggerfall too. I think I managed to install it with VDMSound.
It doesn't see any install drives? Isn't it possible to just mount an empty folder as C: ?
yeah....tried mounting game dir as C: but install still sees no install drives available
Bump because I'm havin' the same goddamn problem too. My OS is Win 2k and if anyone could help I'd greatly appreciate it.
well maybe the next version will help you.
I added some missing (rarely used) dos calls which could be used as a disk detection system.
But as I do not have daggerfall cdrom I have no idea if this solves it.

I tried today Daggerfall CD in the current CVS, having mounted C as harddisk, D as CD-ROM, using minimal installation in Daggerfall installation program - no problem at all. 😀 I did not test 0.61.
So wait for the next version.
