OK I will try the parameter for WinXP and see if that works.
I tried the parameters in the ravager.bat file for getting rid of the into but that did not appear to work.
Has anyone had problems with the game being really jerky in its movements? At first I thought it was because I have an optical mouse and being that the game is so old it may not know how to handle that but it isnt just the mouse movement that is jerky. The screen scrolling and movement is jerky as well. Also a delay in clicking on things.

The game is a little skippy for me...but the biggest problem I have is the music seems to restart itself a lot, mainly during battle.

I have the CD-rom version and the music does the same thing as the previous poster mentioned - it keeps restarting. This seems to mostly be an issue with mounting BINs or ISOs with OGGs. If I run the game with the actual CDrom mounted the music seems to play fine, or at least MUCH better than loading images. Makes me think it's a DOSBOX issue.

I have downloaded an abandonware version of the game, and also a patch (on a separate site)

I have no idea to know what version my game is, no readme file, nothing in-game that tells me what version I'm running.

The patch consists of a patch.exe and patch.rtp that I'm running inside the game folder.

When I run it, it says:
