Hi,

used following command line to mount my cdrom drive:
mount d d:/ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -label new_world_2_world_of_xeen
mscdex installed,it says

but when i am trying to start the game, it says "you have a MUSIC CD loaded" but its the original might and magic world of xeen cd (IV + V)?????????

what did i wrong...wrong mounting!!!!
Please help!!!! 😢

Try using -ioctl or -aspi parameters when setting the line for mounting the cd-rom, one at a time.

PS: The label specified seems TOO LONG to me. Were not labels supposed to have 11 characters long maximum?

Thanks for answering my question...i tried your command lines but it still says Music cd loaded???!!!!

It seems for me too, very long for a descprtion of an cd rom drive...but thats how xp shows it to me....

hope for more answers with solutions
