A few weeks ago, I installed DosBox 0.61 on my PC running Windows XP, and I was able to install and run a game, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, without any problems

The computer I use most of the time is an iMac running Mac OS X 10.2.8. It has a 500 MHz G3 processor with 384 MB RAM. I was happy when I later found out that there was a version of DOSBox available for Mac OS X, so I installed DosBox 0.61 on my Mac.

I was able to install the game on the Mac without any problems, but when I tried to run it, DOSBox crashed. I have tried disabling sound and reinstalling the game, but DOSBox keeps crashing everytime I try to run the game. Any ideas?

SSF2T, Great game BTW

You might want to try a different version of SDL.

Just a wild guess.

That's probably true the SDL.DLL provided with the DOSBox builds are standardized to Win32. If you go to www.libsdl.org, they may have an SDL.DLL built for Mac OS X. (I'm not sure since I haven't looked nor do I own a Mac)
