Hi All.

I'm playing with Cannon Fodder and found the follow issues:

In one bin version of the game:
In some levels, I can not destroy Bigganz (using grenades or bazuka)

In second bin version of the game:
Tanks do not fire shells , but you can only heard the sound of firing.

Anyone knows about these issues and maybe knows how to solve them?
Thanks.

I have the same question. Maybe reset your dosbox configuration file and then try to lower cycles just in case the cycle speed is too fast for the game. Also, make sure that you have a good copy of the game and it isn't a download that was modified. It does work according to the compatibility list and by reviewers who bought it from gog.com:
https://www.dosbox.com/comp_list.php?showID=194&letter=C
https://www.gog.com/game/cannon_fodder

I haven't verified whether gog.com is using dosbox 0.72 or 0.74, but you could try each of those versions.

I paid and installed for a version from gog.com , but it has exactley the same issue of Tank that doesn't fire in some directions. So I guess this is the correct bin, but there is problem 😒

Is it possible that the issue occurs with real DOS hardware?

I would first test for the issue in a real DOS system (or in a Windows 9x dos box). If unavailable, then consider submitting a request for support to gog.com about the issue. A second alternative is to test in PCem. It would provide another test in an emulator that is independent of DOSBox.

It seems reasonable to assume that gog.com has the correct bin. Also, are you using keyboard only?
