When trying to run toonstruck I get this message "ERROR: Could not configure linear access to video memory. Game will play slow. Continue?"
As stated, the game plays impossibly slowly if I continue.
Anyway to fix this?

Sorry, forgot to mention I'm running this with nolfb.com and the -U parameter to disable univbe.
If I change the resolution to 320x200 it works but thats no good to play at 😀
If I change to 640x480 then most of the screen is covered in black squares 🙁
Same goes for the default res of 640x400... I get the error message saying the game will go slow but when I continue the game plays fine, I just can't see half the screen 😒
Just to clarify things: Are you speaking about running the game in DOSBOX (I mean the emulator!) or natively?
If you do not use DOSBOX, then you are in a wrong forum here (there is the forum DOS for non-DOSBOX questions).

Well... it WAS whe I first posted... but I have since made further by not using dosbox because I no longer get that error...

Ok, Faceless made a new thread in DOS, so I close this one. It is rather confusing, I am still not sure what he did in DOSBOX and what natively.
This does not mean that I have anything against discussing problems in Toonstruck - if anybody is interested in it, it should be done in a new thread which should concern only running the game in DOSBOX.
