Hi, I'm trying to play Extreme Pinball in DosBox. (tried 0.59, 0.60 and current CVS code) under Linux, with normal, full and dynamic CPU cores, and in all cases the game works just fine... until I press a key, at which point, it crashes (back to the DOS command prompt, which will still accept commands, but nothing is readable)

Has anyone else encountered this, or found a way to stop it from happening?

I really can't test wdmsound-- I don't have windows available. Extreme pinball *does* run under dosemu (Linux's other popular dos emulator), but the video display doesn't work well at all. (I suspect dosemu has issues with Mode X)

Thanks for the reply though

EDIT: I also tried the DOS32/A dos extender mentioned in another thread on this forum-- it exhibited the exact same behavior as the included dos/4gw extender, so I don't think that's the culprit either.
