Hi there...

I tried to play Der Clou / the Clou with DosBox and got the same error i had in dos times: something like invalid memory (german: ungeeignete speicherkonfiguration.)
This is where i had to set
DEVICEHIGH=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE NOEMS D=64
DOS=HIGH
in the config.sys.

That is the problem. Is there a command to assign DMA memory (EMS is disabled)? I know it is unsupported in your game list, but is there a way to solve this?

ok now...i ve read a few other posts that say it doesnt work with dosbox...sorry

Sorry again, but I solved the problem myself. There is a Win32 version for this game available at: http://www.gohai.net/clou32.php
Now at least this post makes sense 😉
