Hi,

I just reinstalled Tie Fighter on my HD and it runs very fine and smoothly under DosBOX. However once inside the main room window I cannot control the cursor via keyboard anymore. Do I actually have to use a gamepad in order to get Tie Fighter to work? I always played it with a joystick back in the good old days, but I do not own any game- or joypad at the moment.

I'm not sure about the keyboard, but the game should be completely controllable via the mouse-- however, flying actual missions will not be particularly fun. The game 's really not designed to be played without a joystick.

If at all possible, I'd spend $10 on a cheap used joystick.

Make sure it's USB cause Serial doesn't work at all well with DOSBox.
