Have just got Midwinter running perfectly on Dosbox 0.58, however I can't seem to save the game. I would be extremely grateful if anyone has a solution to my problem.

I originally tried to run midwinter on 0.61 but but it kept coming up with an installation error so I used 0.58 and it worked.
Do i need to create a save game folder in the c directory that I am running the game from?.

Managed to finally save the game !!
Here's how I did it for anyone who get's the same problem. Went into the game through my c: drive at 50,000 mph mode and saved a game, then accessed Midwinter through dosbox and hey presto a there was my game ready to load and have had no problems saving Midwinter since.
There may be a better/quicker way to do this but this worked for me and I can now play one of my favourite games that I haven't played for about 13years !!!!.
