Yet another problem.
Whenever I run a game in DosBox, and then exit out of DosBox, the console stays up until I "End-task" it. Which is annoying.

It gets even MORE annoying because the Frontend I want to use hides the console, so I have to CTRL-ALT-DELETE, goto processes, and find DosBox. THEN End-Task it

And if I DON'T endtask it, and load up another DosBox, it screws up my computer and forces it to crash.

Any reason why DosBox console isn't closing? And how I can fix it?

wow you got "bad" video drivers 😉
almost every driver supports overlays nowadays...

Anyway. It could be an opengl problem (as dosbox always uses it)..
any problems with opengl games in general ?

Nope
In my experience, openGL runs extremely well.
I run UT2004 in OpenGL to give myself a nice FPS boost.

Nvidia Geforce 5500 FX card BTW.

Tried to set the output to openGL on dosbox, Fatal Signal - Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)

I dunno. It's new to me. I use the latest Nvidia Drivers with my GeForce Ti 4200.
