Whenever I play NBA Jam Tournament Edition under Dosbox 0.74 it flickers like crazy and I think the speed is off as well.
I have the real CD of it and run it as a .cue /.bin file.
What cpu type and cycles do I have to set the dosbox.conf file to?
Has anyone else experienced this same problem?

Have you tried the machine=vesa_nolfb setting in DOSBox?
No, I have not. I will try that once I get home from work.

Okay, if that doesn't help then try a current source build of DOSBox with the default machine=svga_s3 setting.
Changing the machine setting doesn't work. The flickering occurs when DOSBox runs with more than 23500 cycles. It's a long known problem: NBA Jam TE and flickering
DOSBox-X seems to work with NAB JAM TE, though.
