i have an asus k8v se mother board with a AMD 64 3200+ processor that runs at 2.2 ghz with 2 pci 3200 corshair 512 sticks of ram with onboard sound card. im runnin on windows xp and trying to run Wing commander privateer
using the dosbox .62 (yes i have read the readme) and with out dosbox i get the same error everytime i try to run it. someone posted this error before but it was with windows 98 and jemm doesnt run with xp
i have changed the dosbox.config file from ems=true to ems=false already but nothing has changed
the error reads as follows:

Protected mode driver is not responding to EMS funcion calls. make sure your EMS driver is not configured with the NOEMS option. If it is, replace the option "NOEMS" with "RAM"

i have no idea what ems is and i would appriciate help for running this game. i have been wanting to play it for years but havnt gotten the chance till now
