I have the DOS version of UFO Defense and cannot install the game in XP Pro. The screen hangs after I click install. I tried installing on DOS with the same results.

Where did you get UFO? The Underdogs version has a file designed for Windows.
I installed the DOS CD version just fine a few days ago. Had to be installed into a sub-sub directory, tho. C:\UFO wouldn't work, but C:\GAMES\UFO would.
Hazekel, I bought it on ebay a year or so ago. Was unable to get it to work. I recently heard about DOSbox so downloaded it and gave it a try. I've never heard of the Underdogs version. Where can I get it?
Will Apocalypse work in XP?

It seems to work fine on Win98 and was actually designed for XP. As for Apocalypse ... it works on my Win98 but without the sound. It should work with sound on XP since that it what the hacks were made for but I don't know.
