Just downloaded Humans 3: Evolution from "Home of the underdogs"

but when i start, there comes the "hybrid-group logo" and nothing happens, i hear sound - i've pressed any keys, but cannot go further and the game won't start

I can play it under Pure-Xp but (of course) hear no sound, and the link to vdm-sound is completly not working

Has somebody an solution to my problem, pkeaase
-i have turned EMS and XMS on - cycles are set to 4000 (but i tried other as well)
