hey guys
i`ve got a problem with dosbox !
everytime i play aladdin and i run fast , i notice that the game doesn`t run smooth!
especially in the upper half of the screen you can see flickering parts ...
is this normal?
i use the following cpu settings

core=normal
cycles=9000
cycleup=500
cycledown=20

graphic

language=
machine=vga
captures=capture
memsize=32

Do you have Windows XP? If not, then don't read it 😀

I play Alladin using VDMSound and it runs very smoothly with default configuration. Try it, it should perform better than DosBox.

Of course first run setsnd.exe with VDMSound - it will configure your soundcard. Then run the game also using VDMSound (I suggest creating shortcut on the desktop). That's all.

I see a bit of flickering over here, in the left upper part, but nothing too anoying.
core=dynamic
cycles=5000
machine=vga
memsize=16
note: i think it runs well even at 3300 cycles.
