Hi I'm having a tough tme getting romance to work on dosbox. It will boot up just fine, but the graphics are completely screwy. It was supposedly tested to work with version 0.62, so does that indicate that my game is probably corrupted, or is there someway i might be able to get it to work? Thanks~
Locate the entries for 'machine', 'scaler' and 'output' in the file "dosbox.conf". Then try changing them one at a time, e.g. machine=hercules, output=ddraw. Maybe you can find a combination that works.

I am having the same problem with RTK1: graphics are garbled, making the game unplayable. Looks slightly better with cga graphics, but still unusable. In fact I tried several combinations without success.
If anyone can get those games to run, please post here. Otherwise, maybe the "supported" rating should be changed to "runable" on the site.
PS: Yes, other games work fine on my dosbox.
use 0.61 or the cvs version
those games were broken in the 0.62/63 release
