Recently got a copy of 'Callahan's Crosstime Saloon' and it runs fine in DOSBox 0.63 except for one small thing. When I do not configure the sound in the program 'setsound.bat' the game works perfectly with no problems. However, when I attempt to use the setsound.bat file to choose the sound card for the emulator and to get sound for the game, the program itself seems to work fine, but when I launch ccs.exe I get this error:

ERROR: Unable to allocate memory for the sound/voice directory cache.

I also tried running the game using VDMSound but I get the same error. Does anybody know how I might fix this? I did a search and found somebody with the same problem but the problem was never answered...so, can anyone help? I'd appreciate it 😀
