I have a problem with the floppy version of the X-Wing game.

Whenever I press the 'T' key to Target a ship, the game freezes for a few seconds and then resumes. This only happens with the "T" key and often at the beginning of each Mission. After a couple of times pressing "T" at the beginning of each mission, it has no more trouble and I can press "T" thereafter and the game won't freeze.

It is annoying. Especially at some Missions where I am in the action at the beginning. How do I fix the problem? I have tried seting the config file to both 'normal' and 'dynamic' core. I have upped the cyles to 6000 but below 100 %. I have a 2.60 GHz computer.
