Prehistorik 2 suffers from an ever-so-slight (second or less) delay on the sound effects. I've tried upping the CPU cycles or skipping frames, but to no avail.
Also, the difficulty selection/code screen and map screen do not display properly. They appear slightly stretched and with garbled colors on the top left quarter of the screen.

the colors we know of. the fix although small is quite radical (as it changes our videomode detection code)

the sound delay.. i never heard of it. thought the sound was quite alllright.
hmm

Compare playing in DosBox to playing in plain Windows XP. The music is awfully garbled (something to do with the buffer?), but the sound effects are fine. You can hear the sound right as you use the club, whereas in DosBox there is, as I said, a slight delay.

Would giving you my system specs help any?
