If you run the newest version of "DOS Navigator" in DOSBox, DOSBox exits. Download the application from
[http://dnosp.ru/lite/dnosp.htm].

Doesn't DN run already under native NTVDM? Why do you want to use it under DOSBox? More comfortable managing files?

I guess this is his reason. I remember how happy I was when DOSBOX got to the state where Volkov Commander worked. 😀 I run it every time in DOSBOX.
There is a legitimate case for using DOS file managers in DOSBOX (so I would not dismiss this problem)

Easy to fix in DOSBOX source (just removing that exit for int 21/64 in DOS.CPP). I will put a message on beta board.

Why isn't this patch applied to the official CVS repository, and it's not compiled into the binaries on CVS Compile?
