If uou use "dynamic" core (see DOSBOX.CONF), try to use "normal" core (it is slower, but more compatible). If nothing helps, post into DOSBOX Games/Apps with *ALL* details. Nobody can help you when you do not even tell what game/app you run.

This is all the DOSBox-window tells me.
Im trying to run MAX. I already am on Normal because Dynamic leads to errors and Full to a black screen, too.

My Machine is a AMD Athlon 1.0 with 256 MB RAM and Win2k

MAX? Version number? Published in year? How did you install it? How did you configure it? How do you launch it?

I can run Version 1.0 or 1.04 (which is better with DOSBox?)
I installed via Autoplay under Win and made Config with DOSBox

I launch it in DOSBox and get this error:
Exit to error: Pagedefault didn't correct page

Or what do you mean with "How do I launch"?

I would try cancelling that Windows installer and instead do everything from within DOSBox:

1. Create an empty C:\Games\MAX directory.
2. Insert CD in drive.
3. Start DOSBox.
4. In DOSBox, mount up drive C and D.
   Z:>mount C "D:\Games\MAX"
   Z:>mount D "D:\" -t cdrom -ioctl
5. Install the game from D: to C:
   Z:>D:
   D:>install (or setup, or whatever....)
6. Configure sound, ....
7. Start game.
