On the DOSBox prompt, you first need to mount the directory with your games.

Assuming you have a directory C:\Games on your PC, you can mount it as follows, and then change to the emulated C: drive afterwards:

mount c c:\Games
c:

You then need to CD (change directory) to the directory the game is installed in.

Check this on your system, and change it accordingly. e.g.
cd another

Then you can run the game (e.g.)

world.exe

The Anniversary Editions are not DOS games; you can't run them in DOSBox.

The 20th anniversary edition works fine for me straight after installation on Windows 10 x64 build 20H2 .

Are you using the 15th or 20th anniversary edition ?

EDIT : the 15th anniversary edition crashes at start for me unless I set

Width = 1920 ; Video mode (w+8)
Height = 1080 ; (h+32)

C:\GOG Games\Another World\AnotherWorld.ini

BTW, my laptop screen's native resolution is 1920x1080 .

Alternatively, running C:\GOG Games\Another World\Config.exe and checking "Windowed" works too .
