When trying to run the BubbleBobble/rainbow islands installation from the CD in dosbox, I get the following message:

DOS/4GW error (2001): exception 0Bh (segment not present) at 70:00004503

TSF32:prev_tsf32 5120

Followed by many more lines of numbers and letters.

Whats wrong? I remember from my old dos days that dos4gw needet XMS, but it doesnt help in this situation, I have tried it with 32megs of XMS, and both XMS & EMS.

Search the forums for instruction on how to replace DOS4GW with DOS32A. DOS32A is a new DOS extender that seems to work much better with DOSBox than DOS4GW.

I recommend this option, since you seem to tech-savvy enough to make it work 😀
