There are 2 problems with this game. It works in rarely used 640x350x16 colors video mode. For some reason dosbox renders it in 4 colors (or just doesn't set the palette correctly). I'm pretty sure some old versions of dosbox didn't have this bug. The other problem is the mouse cursor. It's not visible when display memory page is switched in this video mode. The same happens when the game is run in NTVDM and that's why I tried to run it in dosbox. This is my parents' all-time-favorite game and is the reason why I can't upgrade their computer to WinXP (even when hardware is more than suitable) as they refuse to stop playing it 😵 So any help will be appreciated 😉 There's a 16-bit Windows version but it's buggy and sometimes destroys the highscores so it's not a solution.
