Dispite searching for and doing the solutions I've seen around here I still can't get Command & Conquer to work.

I've tried mounting my CDrom drive with "mount D D:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -aspi", I've tried making it a ISO, I've tried everything and all I get when I type "Setup" is:

Illegal Command: win

And it goes no further.

I know this works...I've seen several people around this forum saying it works. I just can't seem to get it installed! 😒

Help!

hmm isn't there an install command ?

as setup clearly wants to start windows (win)

There is an install.exe but it does the same thing! 😒

It's possible that you have the Windows only ver of C&C. I'll have to check my copy but I believe it's Win9x only. I think the last time I tried to get Dos C&C working with my 9x only copy I had to splice some Dos Covert Ops files together....
