i downloaded crusader : no regret and it took me 4 hours to figure out i needed dosbox, then another day to find out about d-fend and now i get this error whenever i want to run the game :
"unable to open file static\shapes.flx, in file FILE\FASTFLEX.C, line 38."
someone please tell me how to fix it so i can finally play this game. it kicks my ass.
1. We don't support abandonware here so if you must illegally pirate a game then don't mention it here.
2. If you use the search feature there are plenty of FASTFLEX errors that can give you a clue as to what your problem is. None are exactly like yours but they may help.
3. The error mentions Shapes.flx in the STATIC directory of your game directory. Now in my No Regret directory the shapes.flx is 50,853, 376 bytes. You may want to check if it's there.....
try mounting one of the directories as cdrom as well
mount c c:\
mount d c:\crus -t cdrom
(if you installed the game in c:\crus)
