the sound doesnt work in dosbox. but it works when im not using dosbox. is there a fix for this?

What version of DOSBox are you trying to use?
What game are you trying to run inside of DOSBox?
Have you configured the game you're trying to run to use sound in a way that is supported by DOSBox?
What OS are you using?
Do you have the latest drivers installed for your sound card?
If you're using Windows, do you have a recent version of DirectX installed?

i have latest sound drivers and direct x. running on win xp home edition. and i havnt configured anything. but when i first got dosbox it did work. now i dont know why it doesnt work.
