I think people are telling you to mount your C: before trying to install to it.

I’m sorry what does that mean? (Probably a dumb question sorry)

I FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK!! THANK YOU ALL!

DOSBox loads up using Z: as the working drive. You're emulating a system without a drive mapped to C. Your install problem is trying to install the program to a drive that isn't there. You can mount one of your host directories to the C drive in DOSBox to allow your install program to see it.

DOSBox doesn't have access to the host computer filesystem by default. You need to tell it which directories it should be allowed to access. Your host computer has a C drive, but your DOSBox doesn't have a C drive unless you give it one.
