I have figured out how to play games in DOSBox that are already installed on my computer but i have been unable to figure out how to install games in DOSBox. i cannot install them without DOSBox so i know that is not the problem. Any help would be appreciated. THanks.

If you are planning on installing from floppies, you must mount a floppy drive properly. E.g. mount a a:\ -t floppy -label <label>
