Hey guys. Here is my problem.

This game originally was on four 1.44 Mb flobby disks. I have the installation files from all the disks in one directory. (I do not have the disks anymore)

How can I extract these files out so that I can play the game under dosbox?

I've tried to mount c:\b17 as a floppy disking using the parameters in the dosbox readme file, but it did not recognize any hard drive to install too.

I've tried to make an image of another drive but it still will not recognize it to install too.

Is there a program out there that will allow me to extract those files in any way so that I can run the game under dosbox? THanks for any help!

If the installation comes compressed with some in-house compression, you may be out of luck. You will still need to run the installer.

B-17 Flying Fortress has been released as Freeware. You can obtain the Freeware version from Underdogs. It comes in a big installation .EXE for Win32. Other than that, the game works flawlessly under DOSBox 0.63 - it is an ms-dos application.
