Assuming I use a fork for DOSBox with NE2000 capabilities, is it possible? If so, how would I go about doing it and which fork would be best?

Interesting question! maybe it is possible using DB-DAUM assuming that it is emulating Win95 and that the executable is Winquake there maybe it is possible to connect to a netquake server.
