On Windows XP network connection settings, we can configure IPX Protocol like the image below:
But on Vista that screen does not exist.
How can I change Internal Network Number, Frametype and External Network Number?

Computer 2: Windows Vista Home Starter
We can play the game M.A.X. succesfully on the internet, but the problem now is the slow-speed of the game.
I don't know why, but when we are playing multiplayer, the game gets too slow (like if we use only 10% of speed, running on a 386 18MHz 🤣)
Right now, we are using DOSBox+Hamachi. We are trying to play without Hamachi.
Another option is to play a serial game, using NULLMODEM, but we don't know how to configure it
You don't need to install IPX in Vista to run a multiplayer game in DOSBox. DOSBox tunnels IPX data through IP.
