Finally went to Computer Reset for the first time, the haul is as follows
2x Matsushita-Kotobuki CR-562-B optical drives - 2 top left
1x M-K CR-563-B OD - bottom left
1x HP C4380-56000 2x/6x OD - the top right one
1x TEAC CD-W54E - bottom right one
1x TEAC FD-55B 5.25" FDD (from Ebay) - left one
1x IBM-badged QumeTrak 142 5.25" FDD - right one
1x 3Com 3C595-TX 10/100 ethernet, PCI and looks to be in really good shape.
1x Envision EN-775e 17" (16" viewable) CRT, .25mm dot pitch, up to 120hz vertical refresh. Was one of the two working ones I found minus a cap/voltage issue the other one supposedly had, bonus is that this fits my black scheme and comes with the little stand unlike the other one
1x NIB Precision MOUSERGOPS2 3 buttton ergo mouse
Software haul is as follows:
- NIB MS-DOS 4.01 (there's still a box of these)
- MS-DOS 5 install diskettes shrink-wrapped with manual (same as above, but also in 1.2MB 5.25 floppy format)
- Windows 95 + Upgrade, as well as Win95 with USB support
- Gunmetal - apparently these keep popping up; either way, never played it but it looks fun and big box
- Internet Explorer 4
- MS Works
- WindowsNT Workstation V4 for 1-2 CPUs, both in CD and 1.44MB floppy diskette
- Some optiquest driver diskette
And then a Win98 Certificate of Authenticity/manual and 2x Win95 ones. Part of me was really hoping to dig up a disk for some form of Win98 and maybe MS-DOS 6 but oh well
I'm gonna be using one of the ODDs, probably the TEAC with the driver that lets me set the speed so things can be quiet, and hopefully at least one of the two FDDs work. Software is absolutely getting dumped and archived if I can bring my self to pop the seals on those MS-DOS boxes
